Mr. Gnome – Midnight Sun

This is my new entrance theme. Seriously. I’m not a cage fighter, nor a wrestler…but as of now, I have an official entrance theme.

Check out this pulsating deep layered bass synth. This synth alone is creating a driving base for the new release of producer duo Mr. Gnome. An energetic rhythm setting adds an metallic and almost industrial-ish flavor to the tune while adding a lush and relaxed groove that makes you move your head and wear a smile while doing so. The light and playful enchating vocals are the butterflies in this scenario. While the whole atmosphere of ‘Midnight Sun’ feels dark and driven, the vocals are existing in there like some fireflies dancing in the dark.

Overall, it’s this interaction betweem light and dark, between heavy and lightweight, methodical and playful elements that make this track something very special. At parts it seemingly might be an odd mixture, but overall this tune stands out exactly because of the eclectic blend of ideas.
