Tal Arditi – Lucy

You gotta love the lightweight movement happening in this tune. With a skilled looping arrangement, creator Tal Arditi manages to get some warmth and swing into your life while handling a theme that is as old as mankind.

“Lucy” has a lot to explore for the listener/viewer. It’s really fun to watch the artist do what he clearly feels and loves. With ease, he fires those bars filled with melodies, percussive claps, and intelligent effect chains. And he reacts according to the base vibe. In a way, it feels like watching a painter fill a blank canvas. While the blank spaces are filled with youth- and soulful composition, the scenery magically comes to life, embracing melodic storytelling and soft grooves. While the audience watches the artist do his thing, the clean and crisp cuts of the video feel natural and relaxed, but are arranged with a very high level of complexity to support the track without stealing the show. This is way harder than it looks for the unskilled editor, yet in this case, it comes with a real easygoing but genuine flow.

Being about the complexity of relationships, about the traps and obstacles of falling in love with someone, this track describes the topic with an authentic and lively vibe. Blending the right amount of emotion and lighthearted fun, the story is told with wisdom, groove, and a signature smile that doesn’t pull the track down.
