Huxley – Always come to me

Music like this originates from the heart.

There’s a very calm and vulnerable honesty to find in the new release of Argentinian multi-instrumentalist Federico Carpi, better known as Huxley. What draw me to this tune like a moth is drawn by light was the crystalline and fragile voice happening in there. Along the clear guitar tracks and the minimal percussion, the track feels almost icy, like stepping out on a intensely cold winter morning. The sound feels sharp and comforting at the same time, while the vocals take their time to deliver the message.

In this hectic and unsafe world out there, this tune is a steady and calm beacon of sound that will caress your soul in a unique way. The whole track is done in a very defensive and honest fashion, it’s like the tune knew that it doesn’t have to play a role for delivering. Music like this isn’t staged or played off a notesheet. Music like this originates from the heart. In the right setting, where you can relax and put on closed headphones, ‘Always come to me’ will calm you down and it will make you feel something. That’s probably the greatest gift any artist out there can give you. And you have to agree with me here, Huxley did this big time here.
