Elson Complex, Edy Hafler – Buzz Pop

This is as peaceful as it gets.

Done as a collaboration project with german guitarist Edy Hafler, the new release of Elson Complex fills the room with a relaxing warmth for me. The melodies are done passionate and calm, bringing a much needed chill moment into these hectic and unknown day-to-day mood filled days. The guitars caress your soul with both emotional and partly uplifting melodic progressions.

If music is able to feel like a blanket wrapped around you on a chill spring night, ‘Buzz Pop’ is a perfect example for exactly this feel. You’ll be able to find so much emotional nuances in this track. There’s a special kind of melancholy hidden in there, but also a very intense ‘it’s okay’ vibe, allowing the listener to close his/her eyes and to just ‘float’ on the melodies for a couple of minutes. This, folks, is not just music, it’s therapy as well.
