Sarpa Salpa – Somebody

Being written as a final goodbye to an old friend, the new release of British pop multitalents Sarpa Salpa contains both a self-reflective emotional message, and a energy-driven uplifting component. By using several sparkling components like funky guitars, synths and a disco-ish rhythm with that unique future-vintage core, the guys once again transmit their special futuretrolectro shimmer into the night.

While the tune creates that well-rounded energetic atmosphere, it also holds on to that special emotional aspect of the message transmitted, and this is one of the most intriguing aspects of the song. It values its message while at the same time transmitting this addictive dance-based music that will make you move no matter what.

It’s no secret that after four reviews within two years you can consider me a big fan of the music of Sarpa Salpa. “Somebody” is the logical successor in a series of danceable, energetic tunes with a well-rounded arsenal of pop ingredients and that special emotional twist.
