Slow Train – Skip to the End

Futuretro groove vibe coming your way.

Taken off the recently released album ‘A Mile from Town’, this opener contains a really huge amount of groove and energy. Those energetic vocals know exactly how to inject a certain kind of feelgood mood in the tune, while the groovy piano-themed backing brings the whole scenario in motion. The drum patterns feels lightweight and fresh, going great along the somewhere in between rock and pop-styled piano and guitar to create an uplifting and honest base for the vocals. Those are done both energetic but also emotional and moody in a very honest way.

I’m simply drawn to this track because of it’s uplifting energy. ‘Skip to the End’ makes me move right away, it’s a hymn meant to be felt. It’s catchy, it’s fresh and lightweight, it feels honest and passionate. It manages to make everything look brighter for a couple of minutes.
