Koala Queen – Time

I always wanted to enter a bar with THIS soundtrack – in slowmotion.

The new release of the Norwegian band Koala Queen is loaded with good old rock vibe. The guitar has this awesome classic dirty blend, the drums to their thing, pushing you down the groove lane, and the vocals have that special rough ingredient to let you know that you’ve seen nothing yet. The single instruments and stylistic elements are arranged thoughtful, and the intensity is just the right amount not to let the track sound too weak nor too pressurized.

Taken from the upcoming EP The Muppet Show, “Time” is exactly that handmade rough vibe I expect in a track of this genre. It is performed passionate and honest. It makes you turn up the volume, scroll down the windows (if you’re driving), and put on those sunglasses and a smile – even at midnight. This is good-old feelgood music, energetic and groovy. Nuff said. Sorry, neighbors. Sunday or not, this track is meant to be played loud.
