Back to the Point – Saviour

Handmade, honest and uplifting. That would be “Saviour” in a nutshell.

The newest release of UK based Back to the Point contains a lot of energy and uplifting spirit, the band members Sam Trenter, Lewis Whymark, Richard Roebuck and Nathan Garwood inject a great amount of good, old rock vibe right through your headphones. To call the band’s style “punk pop” or “punk rock” would be way too easy, their sound contains much more than just what would fit into just one genre. Sure, there’s similarities to other bands out there (I won’t name any, but you’ll notice for sure), but they have their unique style of getting the message through, be it with the energetic vocals of Trenter, the uplifting rhythms, the harmonized vocal tracks on the chorus parts, the playful and crisp melodies or the on-spot mixing of the track – everything in “Saviour” feels just right. This song puts a smile on my face while I am listening to the tune a bit too loud for the neighbors.
