Dana D. Berry & The Intentional Worshippers (Feat. Tiffany Nichole, Aliyah Butler & Kevin Stewart) – I’ll Be The One

I think this tune is the definition of “intensity in music”. With a group effort of several artists, Dana D. Berry and her partners in crime managed to create a real intense tune that won’t leave anyone sitting in their seats.

And that is exactly the intention of their release “I’ll Be The One”. The mother/mentor/preacher/teacher and her co-stars created this uplifting theme with a high amount of faithful intensity. Being backed by a full and well-rounded instrumental backing with several sparkling unexpected visitors, the several vocalists all get their time to rise and shine.

And that is one of the things that attracted me most, besides the amount of energy released. It’s the group vibe, the “we’re doing this together”-feeling that’s flooding the room as soon as you play the song. The message that the song is about, which is to be there for each other, to stand up for your fellow brother and sister – its exactly this message that is transmitted through the soulful and honest efforts of every musician taking part in the project.
