Tyler James Bellinger – Wade

With some mysteriously distorted vocals and a deep bass music backing, the new electro pop release “Wade” of New York based Tyler James Bellinger goes straight underneath your skin.

The track itself creates a somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere due to the deep bass synth and the intense, slightly driven vocals which are processed and chopped at all the right places. The sound feels great, like you have to look over your shoulder several times, and I love when music has an emotional impact on the listener. Best parts of the track for me probably are when the vocals are alone with the bass and a minimal drum set, this sets the focus on the essence of the track, so to speak. The mix of the track is an absolute thing of beauty, it’s really crisp and organised.

Bellinger being one half of the electro pop group KNGDAVD, he puts an exclamation mark on the statement that he is serious about putting his creativity, heart and soul out there. With his single work as well as part of the duo he is constantly reinventing the genre, leaving the avid music lover curious about what’s next.
