The Canvas Collective – Say Something

There’s not much NOT to love in the new release of The Canvas Collective. I mean, listen to this juicy bass line for starters. This along could be the drive of the tune if needed. Along with the retro-styled rhythm set, the tune creates an atmosphere in which the listener is taken to a fast-paced and energetic journey.

‘Say Something’ brings along a really huge amount of emotion as well. The expressive vocals contain a very relatable urgency with a desperate undertone, in my opinion this tune was created to be the embassador of feelings of all the listeners who cannot express themselves this way. The tune serves as a call-to-action but not in a pressing or offensive way. More like the ‘here, let me show you’ way. Backed with that intriguing mix of funky guitars, jumpy bass lines and colorful synth patterns, the vocals are attached to a signature ‘let’s go!’ vibe that digs its way through the outer crust of your mind, sparking up what might have been left hidden in the dark there. I simply love this vibe, it is a strong message that makes you move at the same time. If THIS isn’t versatility, then what is?
