iEzra – Wanna Get Out

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present: vintage-flavored wisdom, served with a lush groove and backed by intelligent instrumental textures. The new release of multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer iEzra has a really unique vibe attached. I like to call this the ‘high-noon element’ for now, because it does remind me of a really hot day in the dusty wild west. Where every move has to be decided wisely to not waste energy or water, the track reacts the same. With a laid back approach, the slow rhythm along the unique honest swing, the track instantly connects with me for telling its story in a handmade and relatable manner. The mixture of quirky synth melodies, and that steady knowing bass and guitar base feel partly melancholic, partly positive, and is presented with a great portion of ‘well, that’s life, folks’.

Music like this is kinda rare out there. Not the genre in general, more the way that music is presented nowadays. ‘Wanna Get Out’ is done in a down-to-earth fashion. It comes as advertised, or even better: it doesn’t even have to be advertised. It’s there, and for its honesty, it’s awesome to a point it doesn’t need any ad.
