Gebrasy – Resolution

You think there’s not enough change in life? You’re fed up with how things go? Then the new release of Lithuanian multitalent Gebrasy should instantly connect to you.

With a lightweight guitar backing, a driving rhythm set and very emotional vocals, ‘Resolution’ knows how to transmit a very relatable vibe. I love the fact that the song feels very relaxed and calm, it just feels like the singer had thought this through for a very long time. While the decision for change is made, the track has a very authentic “working class aura”, as I like to call it. The song is relatable, and I’m very sure of the fact that it speaks out of the heart of many of us. Although I got to admit I am usually not a huge fan of high pitched male singing, in this specific tune it really fits into the mellow atmosphere, because it adds a specific signature positive flavor to the scene. Along with the somewhat wise and sometimes almost retro-styled backing tracks, in the end it’s this positive flavored groove that makes me play this tune on repeat.
