Hunter Falls – PAIN
The story being told by the new release of Belgian artist Hunter Falls feels huge. With a sophisticated energy woven into the single tracks, the tune is here to make a statement. And it’s not a small one.
The vocals feel like they have seen too much during the time they are here. There’s a certain melancholic desperation present. Backed by additional vocals on the right ends, the track gets a signature majestic aura while the tune does its thing in an outstanding slow and methodical manner. What I love about this track is that it doesn’t exist just to please the listener. With the message transmitted loud and clear, there’s also this very high amount of emotions involved while the backing highlights the intensity on just the right ends.
All in all, ‘PAIN’ is a perfect definition of a certain moodset that everyone out there knows. We all have been there, and while Hunter Falls knows that and experienced it first hand, he brings the topic to the table as a reminder that it’s just human to feel this pain. That it’s natural to handle this state offensively. Why not letting people know that you’re hurt, damaged and scared? Why not scream it at people’s faces if necessary? In my opinion, this tune is therapy for all of us out there.
