Zayde Wølf – Holy Water
Once again, the songwriter, producer, and one-of-a-kind artist Zayde Wølf knows exactly how to hit hard with his new release. ‘Holy Water’ builds a dense and powerful atmosphere that’s designed to get you movin’. With energetic vocals, the message builds fast to reach operating temperature. In a dark and wide sceneric setting, the vocals feel a bit shy and defensive for a couple of seconds, but then its time to lift off.
You gotta love the smacking approach of this sound. The intention of the track is to get straight down to the core, and this is what makes this tune so irresisitible. There’s a certain desperation present, but a positive one. With the percussive setting, the tune somewhat feels like an anthem designed to make you change the world. The whole atmosphere rises to epic proportions as the song progresses. Overall, the perfect blend of driving backing and assertive vocals creates what I like to call ‘the wølf atmosphere’.
