I simply love the atmosphere that is created within these two minutes of music. The 2020 release of german composer Michael Maas paints a picture in your head that feels as old and wise as time itself. With a defensive piano-based theme and a minimalistic yet ultra-effective reverbed backing, the tune indicates that it doesn’t have to prove anything to you. There’s a certain confidence woven into the melody, and the slow progression concept feels like if you would watch a plant grow.

In the end, it’s exactly this vibe that makes ‘Frozen Flowers’ so intriguing. The melodies contain a huge amount of emotions, while there’s also this playful light-heartedness present.
