slowride – I Feel Like You

Let’s start the new year with drive and energy, shall we? Okay, the latest release of UK based slowride has already been released back in November, but I stumbled upon it just now. With an uplifting and positive approach, the tune feels like a great fit as the anthem of the first days of 2021.

‘I Feel Like You’ contains a certain groove that feels almost vintage if it wasn’t for the futuristic elements, from synths to processed instruments. The tune emits a well-rounded emotional moodset along a certain neon shimmer, with the vocals feeling warm and positive all the way. The track holds a perfect balance between melody and drive, all you gotta do as the listener is this: sit down, put that seatbelt on and enjoy the ride. Better yet: get up and move. Now excuse me, although I’m terrible at dancing, I feel the need to move right now.
