THIS. This is a perfect addition to each and everyone’s christmas playlist out there. Almost painfully following a christmas-styled music pattern, it’s the song’s message that stuck to me instantly. You gotta love the attitude, because of it the song serves as the anti-christmas anthem. Or does it?

I love this retro-fuzzy way of the tune. Done in this old-fashioned way, the song doesn’t ever raise an eyebrow when played, as long as no one is listening to the lyrics. From there on it’s ‘wait…what?!’ time. With a fun and sassy approach, the tune also opens way for discussion. And while it’s the good, old ‘why are we doing this’-talks, the opening question never sounded better than this track. Well rounded warm groove teaming up with a catchy chorus section. Jep. Christmas IS coming.
