Luna Keller – Prophecy

I gotta admit, this song started a bit slow and minimal for me. But after I let it have full effect on me, I was in for a treat, and so will you. The new release of singer/songwriter Luna Keller runs through nothing less than an evolution. What starts soft, minimal and seemingly a bit too lightweight, evolves into a full-blown atmospheric song loaded with emotion and feel.

I love the moodset is held vulnerable at first, and over time, it feels like the tune itself realizes how beautiful it really is, picking up energy, confidence and passion along the way. In my opinion, this is not only a matter of the song’s concept, but this clearly came from the heart when it was written. There’s this signature honesty involved saying: “hey, I don’t know what’s going to happen. And yes, it does frighten me to a certain degree. But you know what? This is life, and I love it. I won’t back down, and in the end, it’ll all be beautiful.”

Now, I don’t know about you, but it’s this kind of poetry that triggers goosebumps in me, because I’m able to find myself in this. If you ask me, everyone can find some of his/her own truth in ‘Prophecy’.
