Charit Way – Garden Room

This new release of New York based rock band Charit Way holds a perfect mix of emotion, drive and energy. The used piano tracks in there indicate the moody side of things, while the driving rhythms and electric guitars prove that the band can and will release unlimited energy on you if they want to. The vocals are melodic and passionate, but what’s best regarding them is the honesty to find in there. I mean, listen to that range, the singers can go from ‘soft like a pillow’ to ‘relentless like a baseball bat’ in an instant. This alone would be awesome, but the backing does change its form and flavor as well as the song progresses.

‘Garden Room’ contains the best of both worlds, on one hand you have the steady and catchy rock setting that will stick to your head immediately, on the other hand there’s the emotional side of things that indicate the intention of the song wasn’t only to rip you out of your seat. Whoever doubted that the guys of Charit Way couldn’t show a softer side in their songs as well: this tune doesn’t leave any questions unanswered.
