Quick Shots #9: Big Soda
/ What are your music projects at the moment? What’s planned for the rest of 2020?
/ Big Soda:
I just recently released an experimental EP Songs for Rich People!, so that will probably be the last solo release of the year. Other than that, I’m doing a lot of production for great artists like Casey Cope, PandaRaps, and Criibaby, so that’s plenty to feed my workaholism for now!
/ What’s the weirdest thing you did recently?
/ Big Soda:
The other day I attached a small light fixture to a snare drum because I liked how it sounded, that was weird. I don’t get out much.
/ Name your favourite song to sing in the car while stuck in traffic.
/ Big Soda:
“Still Beating” by Mac Demarco is absolutely irresistible to me. That, or “You Need a Hero” by Pages. If you didn’t know about that song until now – you’re welcome.
