The new release of american multitalent TROY transmits a huge amount of raw unfiltered energy. As if the tune itself would be strong enough to lift you up from the ground, the backing creates a fresh and energetic atmosphere for the vocals to exist in. What starts rather unspectacular and defensive evolves into a mighty full-blown setting over time.
Maybe it’s this special ‘maturing’ process of the track that attracts me most. While the tune adds several layers to create this warm, positive and uplifting environment, the vocals have a certain kind of ‘if I can do it, you can do too’ vibe attached. With the lyrics being a reminder to evaluate the person you choose to be, there’s a signature positive vibe to find in ‘Unbreakable’. This tune is designed to make you feel good about yourself. In the end, this isn’t just a song, it’s an anthem to get you up in the morning with a smile on the face and an optimistic view.
