Quick Shots #3: Kalipluche
/ What’s your favourite place in the world, and why?
/ Kalipluche:
Da wo die Berge sind! (laughs) I love mountainscapes like the French Alps, the Matterhorn, Großglockner Hochalpenstraße and Triglav National Park in Slovenia. I find it breathtaking and always take lots of pictures there. One is on the wall in our living room, so I can look at it every day.
/ In what ways did Covid affect your life since the whole thing started?
/ Kalipluche:
I find it hard to deal with uncertainty and right now everything about the future seems uncertain. To distract myself somewhat I’ve been arranging music, made a lyric video for Vintage Futura (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPdhv8Iw5ns&feature=youtu.be) and also did a collaboration about social distancing (in Dutch: https://soundcloud.com/pabloa/pablo-a-feat-kalipluche-ideale-wereld).
/ Are there new projects anytime soon?
/ Kalipluche:
At the moment I’m working on the last song for my Kalipluche debut album. It’s over seven minutes long and I want to make sure it’s the perfect closing track, so no pressure at all! (laughs)
