Limón Limón – Long Distance

This tune should be labeled 'melancholectro'.

The new release of Limón Limón marries soft and warm synth arpeggios to beautiful vocals to caress your soul and heart with an awesome futuretro groove.

Imagine walking through a deserted city at night. A warm summer night. ‘Long Distance’ creates a similar atmosphere for me, the song builds a warm setting that is constantly moving, but not too energetic to feel driving or hectic. Reflecting a relationship derailed by constant separation, the track transmits a familiar kind of melancholy, while the vocals are attached to this special vibe of disillusion. I love how the track manages to transmit the feeling with electro components here. Everyone who actually had to look back at a shattered long distance relationship can identify because there’s not just the sad feel of ‘it’s over’ to find in there, but also an almost bright hint of ‘maybe this is best for the both of us’. In the end, I guess the genre to classify this track should be named ‘melancholectro’.
