Uh, we need some cold light for the new release of Omri & the Nobels. Imagine a slow-motion entrance. This track is best served with ice and sunglasses. There’s a really great groove happening, every single element in the backing offers a special ingredient to make this an awesome groovy cocktail. The processed guitars along the lush laid back bass line blends perfectly with the relaxed beat and those melodic synths. The vocals do their part to add some (lets call it) smiling sassiness in there.

‘Funk You’ feels both lush and energetic, the sound spreads positive energy all over the place while having this groovy vibe that makes you move. Needless to say, the lyrics are catchy as funk, so this one stuck to my head instantly. (and raised some eyebrows when I was singing the tune while cooking dinner for the family.)
