Thomas Bradley Project – It Was We

Meaningful next-gen folk.

With ‘It Was We’, the guys around Thomas Bradley once again created a signature atmospheric surrounding. This time, the track not only paints a picture in your head, it also brings a special folk-ish approach to the table. The sound feels genuine and pure, and the mixture of handmade original instruments and the electric guitar is really something unique and captivating.

There are several instrumental passages to find in the track. The sound revolves around light guitar solo melodies and these beautiful chants and violin parts. Overall, the track creates a mood that feels really mature and venerable in its own right. The excitement is created by emotional expressions in the vocals, as well as minimal synth textures and the driving handmade percussive elements. For some reason, for me the sound feels like a flyby over wide land untouched by man, it has that somewhat pure and unbruised character. Once again, Thomas Bradley and his band manage to put meaning and weight into their handmade music withe very note they play.
