Qwiet Type – Little Ol’ Me

Don’t worry about ’em all. The world is just too big.

With a lightweight and melodic approach, the newest release of american solo artist Qwiet Type brings a special flair to your speakers. With a swinging guitar backing, the track knows how to make the listener feel comortable and cozy. The vocals are done with a soft and confident approach, it’s a bit like a father telling his kids a story on the front porch. And then there’s the extras. There are extra drums added over time, plus extra instrument tracks, each of them adding depth and excitement to the tune. ‘Little Ol’ Me’ isn’t done linear at all, there’s constantly something in motion to find in the tune, and that’s what makes this track so irresistible.

Following the work of Qwiet Type for some time now (I did a previous review of ‘shakedown‘ and ‘Got It Like I Like It‘ in the past) , I know that he constantly is reinventing his music. He’s never too comfortable with being confined to one single genre. You gotta love the versatility in his releases, you never know what will be next.
