Femme46 – Line Up

Attention: this track results in a serious amount of GG – groovy goosebumps.

You gotta love the vocal effect along the synth pop backing in the new release of Swedish girlband Femme46. The backing creates a playful atmosphere that contains a certain kind of curiosity for the listener. In this oddworld-ish surrounding, the vocals are really a thing of beauty. Done in this sexy monotonous fashion, the voices feel both cold and mysterious, which makes the sound pretty addictive. Or addictively pretty, your call. With those passages only backed by the percussive snaps along short synth stabs, ‘Line Up’ feels lush yet well-rounded through the additional vocals. While guitar tracks and vocal one-shots create tension, the song knows how to keep this irresistible groove happening throughout the whole song with a jumpy saturated bass line.

This track is a perfect example that there still is this ice-cold sexiness to find out there. It’s a perfect mix of club and pop, and no matter where you are – this one will make you move.
