Fossway – Grey Cloud

There’s an irresistible vibe connnected to this tune.

I don’t know exactly what it is, because the track both contains uplifting spirit and a certain kind of melancholy, but for me there’s this special positivity, probably transmitted through these driving yet very melodic guitars. Maybe it’s this pushing drum pattern used in the verse parts that keeps the new release of the british at rock band in a steady pace. I really can’t say for sure.

What I CAN say though is this track pulls you out of your chair and takes you for a ride. Not a hectic one, but a very thoughtful one. You’ll find those fresh melodic guitar licks in there as well as very emotional and, at parts almost desperate and pleading, vocals. It’s a perfect mix of those elements that keeps this positive curiosity in ‘Grey Cloud’. Instrumental breaks and even oriental-ish melodic progressions keep excitement and tension in the tune. This is not your everyday linear radio tune. It’s way more than that.
