Track Review

The Karmanauts – Paper Tiger

Hope you are ready to groove, folks.

Can you feel it? There it is, grabbing you wherever you are, making you move. There’s an irresistible groove happening in the newest release of The Karmanauts, with a perfect mixture of funky guitar licks, innovative fresh drum patterns and wind instrument shots that inject an unusual yet energetic vibe. The vocals are done mighty crisp and clean, but they manage to blend into this scenery quite well, because they’re adding their part to keep the track loaded with pace, along the additional instruments that keep the tension and excitement in the track.

‘Paper Tiger’ is a perfect four-minute feelgood moment. If you listen closely, you’ll find new elements in there every time you listen to it. Hey, there’s a conga backing! Here that? That bass feels mighty jumpy along the funky guitar. Uh, vocal one-shots for the riser! Oh! Cowbell! Long time, no hear!

As you can see, this track is for both the dancer and the sound explorer. It’s fresh, it’s innovative, and it’s exciting. Most important: it’s awesome music.
