Bad Plans – Home

THIS is how to transmit emotion in style.

It all starts as a vulnerable, fragile atmsopheric lost melody. While the melodic vocals try to stand up and be someone along the defensive reverbed guitar, you instantly connect to this basic feeling that’s transmitted with this first lines of song. It’s really relatable, producing this been there, done that-feel. While the track progresses, the sound slowly evolves into a more energetic, confident setting. It feels like both backing and vocals find their place in this world, energy is rising, tension is rising, and ultimately this song is a full-blown fighting anthem.

I love when a song tells a full story. The emotions happening in ‘Home’ are really intense and backed perfectly by both vocals and instrument tracks. The mix is a thing of beauty, taking the listener by the hand to experience all of the journey front row. When the journey ends, returning to the vulnerable and lost setting again, this time I feel okay with it. This tune made me confident that there will be another tomorrow. For some reason, this song changed my moodset within 3.5 minutes.
