Zayde Wølf – Let’s Go

Ladies and gentlemen: my new entrance theme at the office.

This tune really hits the ball out of the park. It feels like every single track was dipped in energy before they were glued together in the studio. With a basic guitar backing and a slow yet smacking rhythm, the tune is able to slow down time. Serously, we’ re talking slowmotion here. The processed vocals create that uplifting feel as if things are going to get down any second now. Have you ever been running one of those half marathons or similar events where you are stacked into a pile of people getting ready to run for their lifes? There’s this special goosebump moment where you realize that this is going to happen no matter what. It’s a mix of excitement and adrenaline, and for some reason ‘Let’s Go’ manages to trigger this feeling in me.

Nowadays, you got to tell a good story with your song. And this is exactly what Zayde Wølf manages to do here with quite a minimal yet ultra-effective approach. This sound feels honest, intense and feelable. As the listener, you’re not only hearing the tune, you’re rather merged into the sound while putting on that evil grin. This, guys, is what we should call the ‘Zaydenergy effect’.
