Fire in the Radio – Tulare

The new release of Fire in the Radio merges energetic rock with a slight melancholy to put in an awesome signature element.

The melodies of ‘Tulare’ feel honest and partly sad while at the same time containing this confident its-okay-vibe. This makes the track not only packed with rock but also with emotion, which is reflected by the vocals. These are done passionate yet calm and warm, a combination that is not always easy to realize in a rock track like this one.

I like that this track triggers feelings in me. Somehow, this track takes me back a couple of years, it feels as if its connected to some great memories of the past for me. Maybe the warm brit-styled guitar sound has that effect on me, or maybe its because you can hear from their sound that the guys of Fire in the Radio have been around for some time now (like I have), I’m not sure. Whatever it is, the important thing is that this sound connects with me on more than just the hm-sounds-good-level. This is an honest small piece of the bands soul and essence.
