ASTRINA – Falling Away

There it is again – this playful exciting sparkling atmosphere.

In the new release of ASTRINA, the LA based multitalent once again uses this unique crystalline atmosphere that feels like a forbidden forest for me. Crisp one-shots merging with well-rounded synths build the base for these addictive silky vocals. (Seriously, if there wasn’t any music backing, I’d still be in love with this song just because of the vocals.)

With several one-shots placed in the stream, the music progresses like a slow river stream. The sound feels unknown and mysterious yet at the same time somewhat familiar. I guess the moodset is something that is well-known to all of us. With those chorus vocals on the peak during the chorus, the sound feels like waves hitting the shore, there’s a great amount of tension created without a pressuring vibe. Plus the slow groove is awesome, it feels very well-balanced and… mature for me. It’s clear to me that ASTRINA knows what she is doing, behind the faders as well as at the microphone.
