The Wild & Free – Out of Time

Time to unleash the energy.

I was hooked within the first seconds of the new release of the St. Louis based band The Wild & Free. Why? Simple. Once the track lifts off with those energetic, rich guitar tracks and these drums to fall in love with (did I mention I’m a drummer myself?), it never ever loses power and momentum until its over. ‘Out of Time’ feels like you just got strapped to a rocket, and there’s nothing left to do than just to relax and enjoy the ride.

The melodic synth backings go great along the female vocals which are feeling both uplifting and somewhat sassy, a perfect blend for this tune while they fire away raw energy in form of driving music that won’t allow you to sit still while listening. The voice of front woman Rachel always indicates that there is an unlimited amount of energy available in them, and she unleashes just the exact amount to merge perfectly in the backing music. The icing on this alt rock cake is a flawless warm mix without any glitches whatsoever. This, guys, is the definition of a well-rounded kickass track.
