ETFM – Unsent letters From A Proxima Centauri Travel Log

The new release of ETFM is another travel to the stars for both your ears and your mind.

The main theme is creating a really huge dark space void. The bass synth along a crisp rhythm builds a mysterious deep space symphony which feels both free and lonely. This is a perfect base for the processed vocals which are a very effective ‘transmission’ for the lyrics in this signature ETFM styled fashion.

What starts lonely and lost, transforms into a more energetic tune with sparkling synth patterns and a more confident vocal approach. I love the changing of pace in there, this tune ultimately feels like a genuine message in a bottle from outer space, courtesy of american multitalent Gregory Steven Johnson aka ETFM. The playful lightweight approach of those futuristic synths along the melodic and honest vocals create an environment filled with that signature sci-fi curiosity, perfect to get lost in space.
