Transit Club – Go.Flow

Soft and relaxing vocals in a mysterious glowing synth atmosphere. What starts calm and chillout styled evolves into a refreshing electro pop track, taking its time to do so.

I like that the track doesn’t rush anything. With several tracks being added over time, every element has the chance to be enjoyed without just “mashing” every track together at once. This leads to a relaxed setting for the listener, and since the mix is a flawless thing of beauty, you’ll find yourself slowly grooving along the music, or in other words: you’ll go with the flow.

I haven’t heard a break-up song that sounded that laid back and groovy in a long time. I like the almost unusual approach for that topic, normally you’d expect a melancholic or even aggressive kind of song, but the swedish-canadian band Transit Club somehow gave the break-up song genre a new painting with the floaty, at parts almost slow disco-ish “Go.Flow”. There are several elements that aren’t placed too obvious in the mix, but are golden when it comes to the track being like a mystery box full of hidden gems. There are additional guitar tracks to find, doubled and processed vocals, vocal one-shots, simple yet effective percussion backings – everything to keep the song interesting even when playing on repeat.
