Limón Limón – Believing In Yesterday

Taken off the EP “Believing In Yesterday”, this track feels like an old friend coming over for a visit.

I don’t exactly know why, but this tune triggers emotions and memories of me. Probably it’s because the sound of “Believing in Yesterday” actually reminds me of the awesome vintage electro pop sound that was made back in the days when I grew up. The vocals merge perfectly with the soft synth chords and the defensive guitar and the even more defensive bass. The no-shenanigans-rhythm is perfect to guide the song but never disturb the floaty feel of the track. Normally I’d say something grumpy like ‘they don’t create music like this anymore’ – but Jason and Rand are living, breathing prove that songs like these still are alive nowadays, you just have to know where to look.

So, this well-rounded track is perfect to let the day come to an end. Pour a glass of wine, lean back, put on those headphones and relax. Let the guys of Limón Limón take care of you with their new EP.
